I need to finish the Mexico and Alaska cruise pages and the Las Vegas pages
father's Day is coming.

Here I am with the 11 girls and some of the five leaders with whom I spent two days and two nights at Guide Camp last week. It was an amazing time, filled with singing, laughing, working, and playing. The girls made some great crafts - two with foam pieces - a little flower pot camp hat adornment and a foamy water bottle holder decorated with self sticky pieces. They made great placemats using found nature objects and clear mactac.

Random thoughts
- how easy it was to fall back to the old camp songs from when I was a Guide/Brownie....songs I had totally forgotten about came right back, plus those girls taught me some funny new versions - calomine calomine calomine lotion to the tune of Kumela Kumala Kumala vista.

- many hands make light work

- how great it was just to hang out with other women and girls.....no testosterone allowed.

I am already forgetting things about camp so I wanted to get some of this down before I forgot it all!!

I am thinking that I want to help out more with Guides next year......
